Hardwicke Lloyd Hardwicke of the Manor House, Tytherington, died on 26th December 1935 leaving effects valued at £76246-9s (about £4,600,000 in todays money!) to his wife Winifred, Daphne Beatrice Piercy (wife of Benjamin Herbert Piercy), Percy George Mallory secretary and Francis George Jackson company director. The Tytherington estate was put up for sale on 4th December 1936. Details of the sale catalogue are reproduced below and included Yew Tree and Tower Hill Farms. |
